Spring is nearly upon us, and although playing outside is one of the greatest joys of pickleball, waiting in paddle cues, dealing with the wind, and lugging your own net can be a bit of a drag. We’ll keep our leagues going this season where you can get regularly scheduled, competitive DUPR games to keep honing your skills.

Below you’ll find our different locations and league offerings:

Saturday, 2–6 PM
🔹 Level 1 Learner’s League (Below 2.75) — 30 spots
Sunday, 2–6 PM
🔹 Level 2 Ladder League (2.75–3.25) — 30 spots

📍 Major Owens Community Center – Crown Heights, Brooklyn

Monday, 6–10 PM
🔹 Level 3 League (3.25–3.75) — 40 spots

📍 Gotham Pickleball – Long Island City, Queens

🕑 How Time Slots Work
For leagues scheduled in 4–6 hour blocks, players will be assigned to a 2-hour window each week based on ladder placement. Players near the top of the skill range will typically play the later slot, and those near the bottom will play earlier. If you're in the middle, expect some week-to-week variation.

Each league runs for 7–10 weeks. Full details on start dates, pricing, and format are available in the pre-registration form.

⚠️ Important Registration Note
Leagues are filled top-down by skill level. If you're between two levels, you'll receive priority for the lower level. If space remains in the higher level, you'll be contacted with a registration link.

1010 Wins Pickleball Tournament!

The largest single-day pickleball tournament on the East Coast (we think?) is back for its 4th edition! We've hosted the 1010 Wins Pickleball Tournament at Sportime Randall’s Island twice a year for the past two years—and we’re thrilled to bring it back again on Saturday, May 3rd.

What’s New This Time?

We’re tightening up skill bracket enforcement to ensure more competitive, evenly matched games.
For example, in a 4.0 division, we expect the average team DUPR to be 4.25 or below, with no player exceeding 4.5. This helps create tighter pools and better-quality matches across the board.

There are a few more spots open in some divisions:

• Men’s Doubles 5.0 Prize Money – 1 spot left

• Women’s Doubles 5.0 Prize Money – 2 spots left

• Women’s Doubles 3.5 – 1 spot left

• Mixed Doubles 4.0 – 1 spot left

• Mixed Doubles 4.5 – 1 spot left

• Men’s Doubles 3.0 – 1 spot left

The Men’s and Women’s Prize Money Divisions kick off at 8:00 AM, featuring some of the best players on the East Coast battling for over $6,000 in prize money. Spectating is free—so bring a friend, grab a coffee, and catch the highlights live!

New League Format - Triples League: Presented by 7th Street Burger

Triples League is our brand new summer format—and it's coming in hot.

Format:

• 8 Teams per division

• Each team = 2 men + 1 woman

• Over 7 weeks, teams will:

  • Play 2 other teams each night

  • Compete in 1 men’s doubles and 2 mixed doubles games per matchup

  • Complete a full round-robin, followed by a playoff

• League Dates: Monday, May 12 – June 30

Points accumulate weekly based on match wins, with playoffs weighted more heavily.

The pros are back in town this Memorial Day Weekend for the APP New York City Open! If you’re a fan of both pickleball and the US Open, this is a can't-miss event—whether you're competing or just soaking it all in from the stands.

A USA Pickleball (USAP) Membership is required to register, so be sure to get that squared away first.
